‘We Have The Video’ – Nigerians Respond EFCC as it denies Magu said Coronavirus is caused by corruption

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has rejected that Ibrahim Magu, its acting chairman, said “Coronavirus is caused by corruption” while speaking at the passing out parade of 281 cadets of the EFCC Detective Inspector Course-5, at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna on Tuesday, February 18.

Recall that yesterday, the EFCC Chair went viral when a visual of him saying Coronavirus is caused by corruption hit the social media space.

In a report revealed on its official Twitter handle, the anti-graft agency alleged that the report is false and misleading.

The agency claimed that Magu said; “Tackling corruption is a clarion call, given that corruption is a huge burden to the nation. It is worse than Cancer, Ebola Virus, Coronavirus and all other deadly diseases put together.

However, some Nigerians have answered to the agency, stating that there is video evidence to prove otherwise.
